Is it possible to do Ph.D course under the subject which is not major in the masters course?


Can we pursue PhD in a topic which does not falls under the subject in which we are specialised in masters??but belongs to same background in graduation? Can someone please let me know the complete information on the same as soon as possible?

Yes, you can do Ph.D course as per your strength subject.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria for Ph.D course but you must have valid UGC NET score card.
