Sir, I am in M.Sc (math) final year. In the first semester, I have one compartment. Can I give paper of UGC NET this year? Is it possible for me to do so?

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear in the NET examination at this instant as you have one compartment in your M.Sc course. You must have to clear all your compartment examination before appearing in the NET examination.
Candidates those who have completed their Masters degree with clearing all the backlogs from a recognized University can only apply for the NET examination.
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% of marks in the Masters degree.

No, you are not eligible to appear in UGC NET examination until you qualify each and every exam of your MSc.

Let me tell you that it is not possible to write any examination without clearing compartmental examination.
First of all you should clear backlogs and pass Master’s degree then only you will be eligible to apply for UGC NET entrance exam.
There is no any upper age limit required to apply for UGC NET but degree of Post Graduation is important.
