To make your career as professor..you must be postgraduate with minimum 55% with recognized University...after that you can appear for UGC NET exams its a entrance test for ph.d...after clearing NET exams you can become assistant professor during your ph.d degree...

In most cases are professor big in their academic journey as an undergraduate at major and earn either a bachelor of arts for bachelor of fine arts. those who wish to teach at the college level will go on to pursue a master's degree or doctoral degree in arts. |

Qualification required to be an Arts Professor can be seen below.
1. You must have completed BA in relevant subjects with minimum aggregate of 60% from recognized university. 2. You must have completed MA in relevant subjects with minimum aggregate of 55% from recognized university. 3. You have to go through UGC NET/ CSIR exam and crack it with good score. 4. Now you can apply for position of Assistant Professor in any university. 5. Your final selection will be done through interview. |

Qualification required to be an Arts Professor:-
Most colleges will require a minimum of a master's degree to work as professor. You may pursue a Master's in Arts or a Doctoral degree in Art. Some programs combine the Master's program with a doctoral degree, which can reduce the number of years . |
