I am a student of Msc and I have Doubt about getting JRF. Microbiology 1st year.. What is the qualification I need to get a JRF?

Qualification required for Microbiology JRF is;
You must have completed minimum qualification of master degree or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 55% to secure JRF. Your age should be less than 28 years to secure JRF. You will be getting stipend of Rs. 30000 per month throughout the course duration. |

JRF stands for Junior Research Fellowship UGC conducts NET ( National Eligibility Test ) every year for the posts lecturer, assistant professor, JRF. Educational qualification required for the JRF exam are maintained below :- Completion of master degree with at least 55% marks from any recognised University. Final year candidates are also eligible. Age limit:- Not more than 28 years. Age relaxation:- 5 years for OBC, SC/ST candidates. Nationality:- Indian |

Educational Qualifications for ICMR JRF Entrance Examination: M.Sc./M.A. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC Candidates and 50% for the SC/ST & physically handicapped candidates in the subjects mentioned under the head method of selection.

Educational Qualification required for Microbiology JRF:-
The candidate must have the post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognised University. As, you have completed the post graduation you are eligible to apply for the NET JRF. Age limit:- The Cannabis below 30 years for UGC NET JRF can apply while for CSIR NET JRF the maximum age limit is 28 years. Also, there is relaxation in age and education qualification for reserved and women category candidates. |

Essential qualification: MSc/MTech in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biophysics or Master's in Allied areas of Biology/Life Sciences with 60% marks or equivalent grade with valid CSIR-UGC NET-LS/ DBT-BET-Category-II/ GATE or equivalent exam.

Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ or M. Tech Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor's degree or applicants having Post Graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor's degree and also 2 years Master's degree, should have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET/ GATE or Ph.
