Hello friends, I just want to get admission in Dayananda Sagar University for studying PhD in Chemistry. I would like to know that I have to appear in UGC NET for this particular PhD course admission at this university? Please tell me about this asap.

No, It is not compulsory to appear in UGC NET for PhD(Chemistry) admission in Dayananda Sagar University.

You can also get admission through entrance exam conducted by university.

Applicant's final selection will be done through personal interview.

In order to get admission in PhD in Chemistry in Dayananda Sagar University, you are required to qualify any of the below mentioned entrance examinations.

@ Entrance Test conducted by University or
@ UGC NET or
@ UGC JRF or
@ UGC CSIR JRF or
@ UGC CSIR NET or
@ SLET or
@ GATE..etc.,

Yes, you should appear for UGC NET exam for Chemistry subject in Dayananda University.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for UGC NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for UGC NET exam.

There is no age criteria for UGC NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
