which subject do i select for UGC NET exam?I am student of Msc. botany?and how to prepare UGC NET exam?what botany subject is in UGC NET. Sir How to prepare for scientist after PG in botany subject.

After completing MSc in Botany you can appear in UGC NET and CSIR examinations. If you want to appear in the UGC NET examination then you will have to select the Environmental Science subject and if you want to appear in CSIR NET examination then you will have to choose the Life Science subject.

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for UGC NET is a candidate must have passed a master's degree with a minimum score of 55% marks from a recognized university. The age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 31 years and there is no age limit for Assistant Professorship.

UGC-NET exam is conducted in two papers Paper-1 and Paper-2.

In Paper-1 includes general topics like:-

Teaching Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, Polity and constitution and Environment, among others.

This particular paper is deemed to be easier to crack and an individual can target scoring good marks.
