I have an interest to study PhD(Commerce) in Himachal Pradesh University. Can anyone of you kindly tell me that is there any kind of entrance exam i have to appear for studying this course in this institute? Kindly let me know asap.

If you have qualified exams like NET/SET in commerce subject, then you don't need to appear for any entrance exam. You will be directly eligible for interview stage.

In case, you don't have any of the above scores, then you need to appear for the entrance exam, which is mostly conducted by the concerned university for remaining seats.

Yes, candidates have to appear for the PhD Entrance Test and should score at least 50% marks in it for the admission to study PhD (Commerce) in Himachal Pradesh University. Candidates who have passed master’s degree in the subject concerned with at least 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible to study PhD (Commerce) in Himachal Pradesh University.
