There are many professionals who have a very vast experience of research in a particular field without having any Ph.D qualification. Candidates who have any such qualification are considered for such terms.

It will depend on the recruiting organisation to decide, whether you have that kind of qualification. Some candidates have a good amount of research experience at reputed organization which is definitely more valuable than a Ph.D.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
