The latest syllabus of National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) which is conducted by National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals is shared below:-
:-Gross Anatomy with evolution and Comparative Anatomy. Gross Anatomy will include functional Anatomy. :-Microscopic Anatomy, Developmental Anatomy and Genetics. :-Neuroanatomy including development and microscopic structure :-Practical and Viva :-Histological techniques, identification light and electron microscopic structure of tissues of the body. :-Slides, specimens of developmental anatomy, genetics, neuroanatomy to assess comprehensive knowledge in these areas. :-anatomy, living anatomy, sectional anatomy and neuro anatomy, developmental anatomy and genetics. |

To download the syllabus for UGC NET, you can refer to the link https://www.ugc.ac.in/net/syllabus.aspx.
Further, as far as the pattern of examination is concerned the examination will be of three hours comprising 150 questions each of 2 marks. The questions will be of MCQ types and there will be no negative marks for incorrect responses. Out of 150 questions, 50 questions will be from General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude (Paper -I) while 100 questions will be discipline specific. Further, the minimum passing percentage required for qualifying the examination is 40% in the case of general category candidates and 35% in the case of reserved category candidates. But, the actual cutoff may vary for every cycle of UGC NET/JRF examination depending upon the number of spots available for selection of candidates. |
