What is the procedure to follow for doing Ph.D in Tamil University, Thanjavur? When and where to get the application form to apply for the course? Can someone please provide me the complete details for the same? Awaiting for quicker response.

You must have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in relevant discipline from a recognized University to become eligible for Ph.D admission in Tamil University. For reserved category candidates there is relaxation and they need only 50% marks in Master's degree. If you have NET/SLET/JRF/GATE score then you have good chance of getting admission without appearing for any other entrance exam.

Most of the Universities released notification every year and you have to keep yourself updated and apply for it accordingly. The application form can be obtained through their official website in most cases and you can pay fee in the form of challan or net banking in most cases. Most of them have adopted online application procedure and you can easily apply without any problem.
