What is the procedure followed for doing Ph.D in Maths?
I am student of bsc maths 1st year. I want to do PhD in maths and make a scientist. How does I do this.? Can you please explain me the steps which I need to follow for the same? It will be helpful if you can answer me soon as possible. Thank you!

To do Ph.D after the completion of B.Sc, you first have to complete your Masters degree in mathematics from a recognised University. Then you must have to appear and qualify in the UGC NET examination.
The eligibility criteria required to appear in the UGC NET examination is that a candidate must have completed Master's Degree course from a recognised University with 55% of marks. Once you are qualified in the NET examination successfully, you can take admission to study the Ph.D course in above mentioned subject. |
