The admission process of studying MPhil in Hindi from IGNOU (The Indira Gandhi National Open University) is a candidate must have passed master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of the written test followed by an interview which is conducted by the university.

Interested candidates can apply online through the university website www.ignou.ac.in. First of all, register yourself on the website and thereafter log in with the details. Fill the application form with all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university in order to obtain the application form.

Step 2: On visiting the website, the candidate will have to click on the ‘Admission Link’.

Step 3: The candidate will have to enter their respective email IDs and password. After registering, the candidate can log in.

Step 4: On logging in, the candidate will have to click on the ‘Apply Now’ link. On doing so, the candidate can then fill the application form.

Step 5: One must cross-check the details entered in the form. After doing so, the candidate is required to upload a jpeg file of their respective passport size photographs and signature.

Step 6: Once the details are filled in, the candidate can proceed to pay the application fee i.e INR 1000. The payment can be made in both online as well as offline mode.
