If you have Master's Degree in relevant discipline with 55% marks from a recognized University then surely you can apply for Ph.D admission in Kumaon University. Admission is mainly based on the entrance exam conducted by the University. If you have Master's Degree and have at least 5 years of professional experience in relevant field then you are eligible for Ph.D admission without appearing for any entrance exam. You can also get admission on the basis of the score in NET/SLET. If you have M.Phil qualification then also you can apply for admission without any entrance exam.
