SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test. UP SLET is conducted by C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur twice a year and the examination notification will be generally released in the month of June and February. UP SLET examination will be held in the month of April and July every year.

Eligibility Criteria :-
(1) Candidates other than SC/ST category who have secured at least 55% marks (without grace) in Master's Degree are eligible to appear for this test. For SC/ST category candidates, they must have secured at least 50% marks (without grace) in Master's Degree to be eligible to appear for this test

(2) Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing in the Qualifying Master Degree Examination can also apply for the test.
