Am I eligible for regular teaching job after completion of post graduation in PGDBM with HR specialization?


Hi sir/ ma'am,

I have done my graduation in BCA and post graduation in PGDBM with HR specialisation.I want to know whether I am eligible for regular teacher in Kendriyavidyalay. Can you please provide me the information on the same soon as possible?

You must have to qualify in B.Ed along with TET entrance exam in order to become a Teacher in Government and Private schools. Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification is eligible to apply for B.Ed course.

B.Ed Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be a Bachelor Degree Holder in arts discipline from a recognized university with a minimum score of 50%. Those candidates who have done Master Degree course are also eligible. The selection to the B.Ed course is on the basis of written tests or interview conducted by the respective university.

You have completed BCA and PGDBM so you are not eligible as regular teacher in Kendriya vidhalay because you have not B.Ed degree. CTET exam recruit the candidates for Kendriya vidyalay as a teacher.

Minimum educational qualifications for becoming teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) of CTET exam is Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Minimum educational qualifications for becoming teacher for Elementary stage(For becoming teachers from class VI to VIII) is Graduation degree or appearing in final year of graduation degree.

B.Ed degree is essential for CTET exam.

Your age should be in between 18 to 40 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.
