Friends, I am studying B.A. in Education course. I want to study M.Ed after this course. So, M.Ed is possible after my graduation? Or I have to pursue again graduation in Education i.e.; B.Ed?

Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue Master of Education (M.Ed) course:

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, B.Ed is a pre-requisite for pursuing this M.Ed (Master of Education) course. Here are the important details of M.Ed Eligibility Criteria.

@ The basic educational qualification required is "B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)" with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.

@ Those who have done their Integrated B.Ed course are also eligible to pursue this M.Ed course.

@ In order to pursue this M.Ed course, you must have passed B.Ed course for sure and besides meeting this you are required to appear in M.Ed Entrance Examinations.

@ Some of the M.Ed Entrance Examinations are,
* University of Patna M.Ed Entrance Exam
* Banaras Hindu University M.Ed Entrance Exam
* Delhi University M.Ed Entrance Exam
* Kurukshetra University M.Ed Entrance Exam
* Calicut University M.Ed Entrance Exam..etc.,

If you are pursuing graduation in Arts stream then you have to complete B.Ed also to pursue M.Ed.
As because without completing B.Ed you are not eligible to pursue M.Ed.

M.Ed is only possible after completing B.Ed. The reason is that, you can go for M.Ed after completing B.Ed only not any other degree.
The solution is that you have to go for B.Ed before going through M.Ed.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to opt for M.Ed course after the completion of BA in Education.
Candidates those who have competed their B.Ed course from a recognized University scoring a minimum of 50% of marks in it are eligible to opt for M.Ed course. Application for admission will be entertained on the basis of entrance examination marks.
After completing BA course, you can opt for B.Ed course. Once completing B.Ed, you can apply for M.Ed course.
