Is it compulsory to have honours degree for TGT post of KVS?
I have done my graduation without honour but I have scored very good aggregate, can I apply for TGT POST of kvs

KVS Stands for( Kendriya vidyalaya sangathan)
Yes, honours is compulsory for applying for the post of trained graduate teachers(tgt) and maximum Age limit is 35 years. |

It is not compulsory to have an honours degree for the TGT(Trained Graduate Teachers) post of KVS(Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan). The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The candidate must have done a BEd or equivalent degree from a recognized university and must have passed in the CTET paper II by CBSE or appearing in CTET. The candidate must have a good knowledge of computer applications.

Eligibility for TGT post in KVS:-
> Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. > B.Ed aur equivalent degree from a recognised University. > Pass in the CTET paper II by CBSE or appearing in CTET. > Proficiency in a teaching Hindi and English media. |
