Hi sir I have completed MA(english) and DEd. Can i be eligible for MEd?

M.Ed. refers to Master of Education and for pursuing the same degree course the minimum education required is a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree course from a recognized university.

So, even having completed M.A. (English) and D.Ed. (Diploma in Education) degree course, you are not eligible for pursuing an M.Ed. degree course unless you pursue B.Ed. degree first.

Candidates can do MEd having completed MA English there is no issue.

For MEd , candidates must have a BEd degree from a recognised university with 50%marks.

The duration of this course is 2 years.

The eligibility criteria for M.Ed after MA English varies from university to university.

The general eligibility criteria are as follows:-

A graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
Some universities also require a bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed.) or a bachelor's degree in a teaching-related discipline.
A valid score in the entrance exam for M.Ed. (if applicable).

In addition to the above, some universities may also require the following:
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
A recommendation letter from a professor or employer.

If you have completed an MA in English, you will be eligible to apply for M.Ed programs that focus on English education, language or learning.

Eligibility:-

Candidates who have done graduation or post graduation degree from a recognised university with minimum 55%marks.

The entrance exam called DUET.

You cannot pursue Master in Education as per your qualification. The required qualification to pursue the M.Ed course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in education from a recognised university.
