Eligibility for NET exam in Environmental science?


Respected sir I have completed my post graduation in Environmental Studies from Rabindra Bharati University kolkata ....Am i eligible for NET Exam in Environmental science ..my post graduation is M.A.in Environmental studies faculty of Arts...please reply me .I am very confused about this matter.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for NET Exam in Environmental Science:

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for NET Exam in Environmental Science course is given below,

Name of the Discipline- Environmental Science

>> Candidates must have completed Master's Degree in concerned relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute to be eligible.

>> The minimum percentage required in post Graduation is 55% Mark's for general category candidates and 50% Mark's for reserved category candidates.

>> Hence, as per the qualification you have mentioned I can say that you are eligible to go ahead.

Those who have completed masters degree with 55% marks from a recognised university in humanities, social science, computer science and application, electronic science etc are eligible.

Those who have passed MSc in environment science are eligible for NET environmental science exam.
5% relaxation is provided to reserved categories.

The eligibility for the NET (National Eligibility Test) examination in Environmental Science is a candidate must have passed a Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

The age limit for NET JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) is a candidate should not be more than 30 years of age as of 1st March 2022. For Assistant Professorship there is no upper age limit to apply.

Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

The eligibility is that Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their Master's Degree or equivalent from a recognized university in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam conducted by NTA.
