M.Sc in Geology can be done after completion of BCA?
I have completed my graduation in BCA. Now, I want to do Post Graduation. Can I get admission for studying either MA Geography or M.Sc Geology? Which has more wider options available and more job opportunities?

Yes, you can pursue M.Sc Geology after completing BCA from a recognized university.
You can change stream/subject without any objection. Both the courses are good at their place. Some of the job opportunities after completing MA Geography are as follows:- Cartography Demographer Agricultural Consultant Teachers Town Planning Remote Sensing Some of the job opportunities after completing M.Sc. Geology are as follows:- Geologist Data Engineer Geophysicist Research Associate |

You can go for M. Sc in: 1) M. Sc (Economics). 2) M. Sc (Hotel Management). 3) M. Sc (Design - Interior & Furniture). 4) M. Sc (Design - Fashion). 5) M. Sc (Design - Multimedia). 6) M. Sc (Film and TV Production). 7) M. Sc (Geography). 8) M. Sc (Computer Science ). 9) M. Sc (Information Technology). and you can also go for any other M. Sc in the same stream as yours in bachelors. |

Eligibility for MSc in geology:-
> Candidates who have completed their graduation in any relevant spring with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks and adverb or equivalent CGPA can seek admission to the course. > Applicants will have to clear the entrance examination held by various reputed institutions and universities. So you are eligible for this course after completion of BCA. |

To study MSc in Geology it is mandatory that a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Geology or in a relevant course from a recognized university. A candidate must have studied Geology as a compulsory subject with any two of these subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology as subsidiary subjects. Admission selection will be on the basis of the entrance test which is conducted by the university. Some of the entrance examinations for this course are given below.

Pursuing Master's in Computer Application will be more benefiting for you in the future. The minimum qualification required to pursue masters of Science in Geology is bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks and above CGPA.
