It is not possible to study MSc(IT) for BSc(Mathematics) student. In order to study MSc(IT), you must have a Bachelor’s degree in the same discipline (or relevant discipline) like, B.Sc (IT) Degree, BE/B Tech (IT) Degree, B Com in CS or IT etc. from any recognized university.

In order to get admission in M.Sc IT course, the candidate should have passed B.Sc course with Biology and Chemistry and Physics as main subjects with 50%. As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to get admission in MSc(IT) after completing BSc(Mathematics).

The name of the best other courses for you is given below.

=> Master of Science in Mathematical economics

=> Master of Science in Bio-statistics

=> Master of Science in Applied Mathematics

=> Master of Science in Agricultural Statistics

=> Master of Science in Mathematical Statistics

=> Master of Science in Statistics

=> Master of Science in Pure Mathematics

Yes it is possible to pursue M.Sc(IT) after completing B.Sc(Mathematics).
There is no any objection regarding changing subject or stream.
The only thing is that college should be recognized from which you have completed graduation.
