Re: Qualification required for M.Arch? Sports quota is available or not?
M.Arch is a good course and it has good scopes also and if you want to do M.Arch then you should fulfill the below eligibility criteria:
You should have minimum 55% marks in B.Arch After that you are eligible to apply for the M.Arch entrance. And it is best to do M.Arch after the B.Arch. There are some universities and colleges where sports quota is available and you can apply for those universities also if you are sports person. But Generally there are only quota for SC/ST and OBC candidates. As per government rules there is an additional quota for SC/ST and OBC candidates. But still there are some universities which provide 5% sports quota to sports persons. Some university gives concession in fee to sports persons. So basically if you want to take admission in the M.Arch then you must have minimum qualification of B.Arch with at least of 55% marks. And if you belongs to SC/ST or OBC category then you need to have minimum of 50% marks in your B.Arch to take admission in the M.Arch course. And let come back to eligibility for the B.Arch so if you want to do B.Arch then you must have the minimum qualification of 12th class with PCM subjects and also that you need to have minimum of 60% marks in order to appear for JEE B.Arch entrance exam. So if you fulfill these criteria then surely you are eligible to apply for the B.Arch course. And also you can go for M.Arch after completing your B.Arch with 55% marks. |
