Hi everyone, I am a student of MSc(Biotechnology), studying in 1st year. I would like to know what benefit I get as I have selected Biotechnology in my MSc. I want to know the scope of this specialization. Kindly tell me about this in details.

Biotechnology is surely the emerging field in India.As India is a developing country the opportunities are bound to increase with time.In terms of scope of higher education there are ample opportunities to do research in the area of Biotechnology.There are very good institutions that offer good PhD programs like IISc,TIFR,JNU,DU,IITs,NITs.In terms of job opportunities for Biotechnology professionals here is a list of companies.
