Hello everyone, I just wanted to know that what is the scope after doing MTECH in UVCE Bangalore in terms of internship and placements. What all other options do we have beside UVCE. ( In Karnataka itself). Thankyou in advance

There is a lot of scope in studying MTech in Thermal Branch course. It is designed purposely to meet the needs of the modern engineer both in the industry and in research or education establishments.

Academic Institutions
Vestas and Visteon
Maruti Suzuki Motors Limited
TATA Motors Limited

Maintenance Engineer
Project Manager

Mechanical Engineer

Yes, though technically speaking UVCE offers an ME (Master of Engineering). It is the same as an M.Tech though many people consider the nomenclature old fashioned.

Entrance is through GATE and PGCET. No management quota seats are offered since it is a government college. So even if a single seat is left over, they call for counselling again and allot that to the highest rank holder.

Since UVCE is under Bangalore University, the degree is awarded by Bangalore University, not VTU.
