Is there need for mtech after mca? I have 3 year diploma in ece and bsc-it lateral entry and now I have completed my mca.

I dont think that there is a need to pursue M.Tech again after completion of MCA course. Because there are many cases in which most of the aspirants got employed after successful completion of MCA course it self. Hence, I can say that MCA course alone is sufficient to get good career. But if you are really interested to pursue M.Tech, then you may go for pursuing it.

After completion of MCA course, you may find job opportunities in many Multinational companies like TCS, IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, CTS..etc as a Job Developer, Junior Engineer, Trainee, System Engineer..etc

Yes, MCA is equivallent to BTECH, BCA+MCA= BTECH. After BCA directly MTECH can not be preffered. And for it is good to MCA after BCA and then for heigher is MTECH, because BCA includes only the basic knowledge of Computer Science.So yes, An MCA student is eligible for the GATE exam.

MTech provides practical exposure to conceptual knowledge to explore your career in the field of technology. This is a 2 year duration course which is divided into 4 semesters. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed BE/BTech or MCA with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university with a valid GATE score.

If you want to get a good job than you can go for MTech.

Since you have completed 3 courses , it would be easy for you if you for job.

If you are financially stable or doesn't want work than only go for MTech otherwise for job.

In your case job will be the best option.

MCA and MSc are equivalent to BTech, but not MTech. Here is equivalent in the sense, if you want to do MTech(CSE), BTech/MCA/MSc students are eligible.
