I want to ask what are the entrance exams and other criteria to get admission in reputed colleges for masters degree after completing B.Tech in automobile Engineering?

GATE is the only examination conducted at national level for admission in master degree courses in Engineering.

Some state conduct their separate Common Entrance Test CET which only accepted in their own state.

If you could secure more than 40% marks in GATE examination than you will surely get admission in good university.

M. Tech AME is a two year programand has a similar course name M.Tech Automotive Engineering. The mode of admission is mostly through an Engineering Entrance Examinations including the different examinations conducted by University/ State or National Joint Entrance Exams.

The average tuition fee for entire course ranges between 1.5 Lakh INR to 3.5 Lakhs INR.

MTech in Automobile Engineering is a 2 year duration course and is divided into 4 semesters. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed BE/BTech in the relevant field from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of GATE or the entrance examination score which is conducted by the university. The minimum score and entrance test score may differ from university to university which you can check before applying.
