XAT stands for Xavier Aptitude Test and CAT stands for Common Admission Test. Both the tests are entrance examinations to get admission in MBA course. XAT has not merged with CAT. Both the examinations are not related to each other in any way and they both are independent. So, if you wish to pursue MBA course after completion of your Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, you can appear for XaAT or CAT examination to get admission in MBA course.
