Computer usage is rising quickly these days, so it makes sense to state that CSE and IT has a wider range of applications than ECE. However, given that the use of electronics is rapidly advancing, it would also be incorrect to claim that ECE is understaffed.

So, it totally depends on you what you want to do in the future.

In coming time, CSE branch will continue to flourish than any other branch.
It has high placement opportunities which provides high salary package .
One of the main reasons why CSE will have huge demand in future is their specialisation in different technologies or aspects of the field, from artificial intelligence to blockchain technology.

But those who are interested in government sector jobs must go for ECE .

You must make choice depending on your interest not on demand.
If you are interested in your field then you can find different and exciting ways of doing your job.

Nowadays, there are more people using computers than ever before, so it stands to reason that CSE and IT have more applications than ECE. However, it would also be misleading to claim that ECE is inadequate given how quickly the use of electronics is developing.

So, anything you decide to do in the future is entirely up to you.
