No, distance education course candidates are not eligible for private sector jobs. Only those candidates who have completed degree with regular course are eligible for private sector recruitment.

But, you can apply for government sector jobs like SSC, PSC, Civil Service Exam etc.

Yes, degree received from distance mode of learning is valid for jobs in both public as well as private sector. However, it depends on the job role you are applying since the job opportunities are limited. Yes, you can definitely pursue BA degree course in the field of English.
