How can a qualified CA can become a Bank Manager or Branch Manager?
After qualifying CA course what are the eligibility criteria for becoming bank manager or senior branch manager post? Do I need to appear for any entrance for this or can I apply directly for these posts? Is there any difference between recruitment for private banks and government banks?

Candidates having bachelor's degree in business administration /commerce/finance or any other relevant field.
Banks ideally prefer candidates who have atleast completed their graduation UG in accounting , finance, commerce or business administration from a recognised university. If resume has experience in bank audits will be a plus point . You can get the job of Managment of branch affairs or SME MSME loans and recovery department. A bank manager with CA degree is better job portfolio .Bank manager is also a reputed designation but not necessarily CA degree is required. |
