One agent has applied for his agency from his present company to work in another company. Kindly guide us how to transfer his agency .

• The agent must first resign from their current company. This can be done by submitting a written resignation letter to their manager.
• Once the agent has resigned, they must obtain a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from their current company. This NOC is a document that states that the current company does not object to the agent transferring to another company.
• The agent must then submit their application for transfer to the new company. This application should include the following documents:
  • Resignation letter from the current company
  • NOC from the current company
  • Proof of identity and address
  • Proof of work experience
• The new company will then review the application and make a decision on whether or not to approve the transfer.
• If the transfer is approved, the new company will issue the agent a new agency agreement.

It is important to note that there may be additional requirements or restrictions on transferring an agent from one company to another. These requirements may vary depending on the specific companies involved.

You can change your agency from one company to another. If your agency is from private company and want to join LIC Of India. Choose the nearest Branch to you and visit the Branch approach any Development Officer discuss with Development Officer he will assist you. Once you decided to join LIC with Development Officer, send your resignation letter through e-mail or Registered post with acknowledgement due for your agency stating that you want to join LIC with a request to issue NOC to the company which you are attached and a copy to IRDAI. With in one month you will get NOC. Once you get NOC you will be appointed as agent by the Development Officer.
