I have completed my MCA in the year 2010 and currently i am working in BPO sector. Now i am planning to do mainframe course because i somewhat not interested in programming side. I want to know if Mainframe course helpful for me to get placed easily in a good company. Reply me ASAP

Mainframe is an evergreen field which has been in the IT sector for years and is still thriving steadily with good future prospects. This is because most of the large scale companies of the world have their framework and background operations in Mainframe. Banking, automobile, insurance and health-care companies are mostly mainframe dependent. It will definitely be useful and you can get placed in a good company. However, the job opportunities lie mostly in the service-based companies and not product based companies in India. Multinational companies like Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc. have job opportunities in this field.
