Salary depends on various factors like the institute from which you pursued the course, the employer offering you the job and your caliber and performance in the selection rounds. In general the average salary of a nuclear engineer as a fresher will be in the range of 30000-50000 per month. The toughest part of the course varies from student to student. However, practical sessions are considered toughest in this field since intensive care should be taken while performing them.
