Central Board of Secondary Education or the CBSE conducts an All India Engineering Entrance Examination knows as AIEEE in popular culture, for admission of students into various colleges into the undergraduate engineering courses across the country. One of the most taken and popular examinations, is given almost by all engineering aspirants with total candidature of more than 600,000 per annum. The paper pattern consists of three sections in one paper, which include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Physics section consists of objective type questions which carry a +3 for a correct response and -1 for a wrong response. The standard of question is from the CBSE XIIth examination syllabus, and hence that is taken for standard reference. The questions are more of an assortment of very easy to very tough questions, with a total paper time of 3 hours.
