The paper has two broad sections and all the questions from both sections are compulsory. The students must draw diagrams neatly and label them properly wherever it is required to draw the diagrams. They must also keep in mind that the answers to each [art of the paper must be in separate sheets. In the first part the important topics are centric location, balanced occlusion, centric occlusion, their significance in denture prosthesis, centric jaw relation, how to record centric jaw relation, the factors of retention as applied to maxillary complete denture, describe in detail the terms immediate dentures and overdentures. Part 1 of the paper also has short notes to be written on various topics like denture stomatitis, merits and demerits of overdenture over conventional denture. Part 2 has the same pattern of descriptive and short questions. Some questions in this section are requirements of an impression material for an FPD patient; describe in detail the support of complete dentures as compared to natural teeth. Short note topics are Extra retentive devices in FPD and Cervical Finish lines.
