Baba Farid University of Health Sciences- B.P.T. (2nd Prof.) Pathology and Microbiology Papers are aimed at testing the student’s close reading of the prescribed texts as well as testing his or her understanding of the subject itself. This means that the paper is divided into two halves, one for objective type questions, and the other for longer answers. The first section contains questions like short notes on key terms like degeneration, thrombosis, rickets, clot, embryo, spores, and motility and so on. The other section contains questions which are slightly more challenging like explication of laboratory testing of tuberculosis, the role of disinfectants, the causes of nutritional diseases like scurvy, hospital acquired infections, the various kinds of tumors of the bone, the various kinds of sexually transmitted diseases and so on. This paper can be nailed if the student is thorough in his preparation and diligent.
