In CGBSE the subject English has two papers namely general English and special English. Special English is slightly different from the general one. In this the prose section has long questions. There is only one comprehension and that too unseen. In General English only letter and essay writing was there but this paper also has a précis and paragraph writing. This way it thoroughly checks the vocabulary of a candidate. In story writing hints are given and in paragraph writing one has three choices. The candidate really needs to be fast to complete so many sections.
