B.Stat is a bachelor’s degree programme taught at ISI. Different sections of statistics are covered to have a thorough knowledge of the subject. It includes both Mathematics as well as Computer science. The three years course is divided into six semesters. The students have to study five papers in each semester and have to appear for the exams at the end of the semester. The third, fourth and fifth trimester each include one elective. Other papers are all core subjects. Students have an option for another non-credit elective exam, but that depends upon the time schedule available. The total marks for each of the credit papers are 100, only Statistic Comprehensive paper is of 200 marks. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
