Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board is entrusted with the task of conducting the SSLC examination every year. Hindi can be taken up by students as their first language. The paper is of 125 marks and the time for the test is 3 hours. There are two parts in the paper. Part A has objective type questions. Among the four options of the question, only one is correct. The questions are of 1 mark each. The number of questions in this section is 50. Part B has 28 questions. Questions are from Grammar, and Composition. Text based questions are also there. There are short answer type questions of 2 marks and detailed answer type questions, carrying 4 marks and 5 marks, in the paper.
