Education and Career Forum

The question paper is divided into two sections, all questions in both sections are compulsory. The questions are all theoretical and require diagrams wherever needed. Some questions have sub parts. The total marks of the paper is 50 and the two sections have 20 and 30 marks respectively. Some of the common questions from the first section are cost effectiveness and advantages of rat trap bond, to be explained with diagrams, qualities of brick masonry, various types of brick arches with their diagrams, how rural materials are used in building constructions, the various types of new construction materials for cost-effective construction etc. the common and important questions from the second part are properties of good quality tiles, sketch of a hospital building constructed using hollow clay blocks, explanation of the differences between English bond, Double Flemish bond and single Flemish bond, using diagrams. The questions are both theoretical and application based.
