Indian Police Department conducts a written based entrance exam in order to recruit candidates for the post of SSC CPO Sub Inspector. The exam is classified into two different papers, namely Paper I and Paper II. Paper I comprises of 200 questions belonging to segments such as English Comprehension, Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness and General Knowledge and General Intelligence. Paper II comprises of 200 Questions belonging to English Language and Comprehension. Individual 400 questions comprises of one mark each, therefore the total mark is 400. Each of the two papers is of two hours in duration. Dear friend one can get a job in indian paramilitary forces through centeral police oraganisation examination for the post of sub inspector in CISF, CRPF,BSF,ITBP and SSB. Anyone can apply for this examination if he posses a graduation degree,good physical and madical fitness. There are four phases in this examination like written,physical test,medical and interview. In these phases physical test is the main, one needs to build his physical stamina in the following events-
100 mtr race- 16 sec.
1600 meter race- 6.30 minute
long jump- 12 ft
high jump-3.45 ft
short put-16 ft
A person who is below 25 and above 18 year of age is eligible, age relaxation is given as per govt. rules.
One can purchase a good handy book namely ' ssc cpo examination' from any competetive book shop for preparation, exam pattern and sylbuss. One can also get previous five years question papers in it.
