I want to admit my son in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of Alleppey for 5th standard. I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission in this school for 5th standard. Can anyone of you please help me to know about the admission procedure?

Admission is not conducted in JNV ( Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya ) in 5th std.

Entrance examination is conducted for admission only in 6th, 9th and 11th.

So, you are not eligible to appear in examination to get admission.

You will be eligible to apply next year.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya offers admissions from class 6th to class 12th.

The admissions are given based on the entrance exam results conducted by the school every year in the month of April.
Since the school offering admissions from 6th class you cannot get admission for 5th class.
Complete your 5th class education from any government recognised board and then apply for admission in JNV for 6th class.
The age limit should be between 9 - 13 years for getting admission into JNV for 6th class.

There is no entrance test for admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Std 5th.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in Std 5th.

It is a central government school and candidates are eligible to appear in examination for admission in Std 6th, Std 9th and Std 11th.

You have to wait for the next year to appear in examination to get admission.
