My daughter's Birthdate is 2-10-2016..Currently she is in senior kg in cbse school in Gujarat..Is she eligible for class 1 in year 2022-23?

According to the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the student's age should be between 5 years to 6 years old as of the 31st March of the relevant year in order to be admitted to class 1 in the CBSC school.

So, your daughter is eligible for admission in class 1 in CBSC school in the year 2022-23.

CBSE has not released any official notification regarding the age limit criteria.

It is the responsibility of Directorate of state education department which declares the age limit to pursue in any class.

The child should be 5 years old (The kendra Vidayala sanghatan had earlier announced the age criteria child must be 6 years old (as of 31march) in the academic year 2022–2023 .
As your child is 5 years 7 months and 25 days she is eligible for CBSE School .

CBSE admissions 2022-23 says that a student of Class 1 must be at least 6 years old as of March 31 of that particular academic year. Student should not be more than 8 years old on March 31.
