My daughter was born on 27.8.2017. She is in playschool right now. Do I need to repeat her in any class before class 1. Will she be eligible for classless?

To be eligible for admission to class 1, the age of the student must be at least 6 years old as of the relevant year's 31st March but not older than 8 years old as per the rules of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Your daughter is eligible for admission if she satisfies the aforementioned age requirements.

It is the Directorate of School Education which decides the age limit criteria for students of the respective State.

So, you can visit the respective office for the detail information about the age limit of respective state.

Age Criteria:

1.The student must be 6 years old for admission in class 1st.

2. The student does not need any qualification to get admission in class 1st.

3. The student should have their documents to get admission.

According to Central Board of Secondary Education regulations(CBSE), a student must be at least 6 years old as of March 31 of the relevant year in order to be admitted to class 1, however they cannot be older than 8 years old.

If your daughter fulfills the above criteria, then*she is eligible for admission.
