Hello sir my daughter date of birth in 10.02.2014 can i join him in cbse school for class 6 standard for the academic year 2022-2023? How do you age in 6 standard sir

As per the guidelines of the central board of secondary education (CBSE), the age of the student should be between 10 years to 11 years to get admission in class 6th standard under CBSE Schools.

Student should be passed 5th standard from any recognised board.

Student should be 10 years 6 months at the time of admission.

CBSE has introduced a new rule for the age limit, according to this new rule relaxation of 30 days is provided to the child in the lower age limit as well as upper age limit. To get a CBSE age relaxation of 30 days, the parents of the child have to drop a manual application along with the birth certificate.

The age criteria to join the 6th standard in CBSE school for the General category is 10-11 years. A child who is born between 1st April 2011 and 31st March 2012 is eligible to take admission in class 6th.

The central board of secondary education (CBSE) recommends that students must be between the ages of 10 to11 years old*in order to be admitted to the sixth grade in CBSE-accredited schools.
