I have completed my 12th in year 2015. I appeared for AIPMT that year and in 2016. I appeared for it again and in 2017, I appeared for NEET. Am l eligible for NEET 2018?

To be eligible to appear in NEET 2018 examination, you should have to pass 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with minimum aggregate of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised school. The maximum age to appear in NEET 2018 examination is 25 years as on 31st December, 2018. If you can satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2018 examination.

All the medical and Dental aspirants are informed that there may be 9 attempts in NEET examination. For reserved categories, the maximum age limit is 30 years and these candidates can get 14 opportunities to clear the exam.
So you are eligible to appear for thrice in this exam.

Till now, there were three limits on the number of attempts for appearing the NEET. The limit in the number of attempts was introduced in year 2017 and was counted in the year 2017 year. But from 2018, candidates have an option for maximum limits. There may be 9 attempts.

I am sorry to say that you cannot appear for medical entrance test any more as you have exceeded the maximum attempt limit as the limit is 3 times for a candidate.

You can get admission in some other medical course and get specialization in that particular field.

As far as medical entrance exams is concerned, there isn't any limit in attempts. All you need is eligibility to appear for the exam.

In fact, for private medical colleges, there isn't any upper age limit. There is upper age limit of 25 years only available for government medical colleges.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2018 examination even if you have appeared in AIPMT examination thrice. No restriction on number of attempts to appear in NEET examination. To be eligible to apply for NEET 2018 examination, you should have cleared your 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCB stream with at least 50% aggregate marks from a Government recognised board.

Age criteria :- Maximum 25 years. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates is applicable as per government rules to apply for NEET examination.

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, yes you are eligible to appear in NEET Examination even after appearing AIPMT Examination thrice.

In general, NEET Examination is waytougher than AIPMT Examination and the major difference between both these examinations is that, NEET Examination has only one paper where as AIPMT has 2 papers which are Prelims followed by Mains Examination.

Earlier the examination was AIPMT and 15% belong to AIQ seats and now it's NEET Examination.

Maximum number of attempts allowed for appearing in NEET Examination is 3 and you can appear in this examination if you successfully meet the required age criteria and educational qualification criteria.
