Is it better to shift a Jammu & kashmir State Board to CBSE for 9th standard? Comparison of syllabus between these two boards?
I want to know about the comparison of new syllabus of Jammu & kashmir State Board and CBSE syllabus for 9th standard because my kid is in 8th standard and I am thinking to shift her to CBSE Board. She wants to give JEE Main and Advanced and get prepared for it. What will be better for her whether to continue in Jammu & kashmir State Board or shift her to CBSE?

Re: Is it better to shift a Jammu & kashmir State Board to CBSE for 9th standard? Comparison of syllabus between these two boards?
There are a few factors you should consider when deciding whether to shift your child from the Jammu & Kashmir State Board to CBSE for 9th standard.
Firstly, CBSE has a national level curriculum that is recognized across India. This means that if your child plans on studying outside of Jammu & Kashmir, a CBSE education may be beneficial as it can provide a more seamless transition. Secondly, CBSE syllabus is known to be more comprehensive and up-to-date than the Jammu & Kashmir State Board. This is especially important if your child is interested in pursuing competitive exams like JEE Main and Advanced, as the syllabus for these exams is based on the CBSE curriculum. Thirdly, CBSE schools tend to have better facilities and resources compared to the Jammu & Kashmir State Board schools. This can often translate into a better learning experience for your child. However, it is important to note that shifting from one board to another can be a significant adjustment for your child. They may need to adapt to a new teaching style and make new friends. It is also worth considering whether the school you plan to enroll your child in has a good reputation and is equipped to provide a quality education. Ultimately, the decision to shift your child to CBSE for 9th standard should be based on your child's academic goals and needs, as well as your own preferences as a parent. It may be helpful to speak to other parents and educators in your community to get a better sense of which board may be the best fit for your child. |
