Re: Which board to opt between CBSE and ICSE in 11th in order to become an Engineer in future?
You can become an engineer after pursuing the B.Tech or B.E course. The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed std 12th from a recognised board in PCM as main paper.
So, you can pursue std 11th from any recognised board with PCM stream in order to become engineer in the future. |

As far as you are concerned about the selection of board of examination among CBSE and ICSE for higher secondary school education in order to be an engineer in future then in my opinion one should stick with the same board of education from which he/she has completed his/her secondary school education as changing the board of education for higher secondary school education does not have much meaning as the syllabus for any engineering entrance examination is same for all board of education and also the curriculum of all boards are designed according to standard syllabus and requirement for engineering courses. So, you can stick with your current board of education.

If the candidate wants to qualify for any entrance test for college admission and want to prepare for the same during 11th and 12th class then CBSE would be a better option. If the candidate is not in a mood to do preparation for any entrance test and wants to get deep, quality knowledge then ICSE is a good option. |

Re: Which board to opt between CBSE and ICSE in 11th in order to become an Engineer in future?
The subjects of both boards are different.
Since second language is compulsory in ICSE while that is not in case of CBSE. Moreover the syllabus of english is difficult than that of cbse. The syllabus is more or less same in both the board's. For engineering, board does not matter, you just have to go through the pattern in which you have to give your semester. Pattern and proper study matters . It should be done smartly and wisely keeping in mind all the essentials to clear the exam. |
