I am going to appear for the Board exam of 12th standard with NIOS Board. I have chosen Arts stream. I want to give the NDA exam as well. So, as I am an NIOS Board exam, so can I give an NDA exam?

Main eligibility is 10+2 with maths and physics as core subject, for Air Force and Naval wings of NDA.
It's exam is conducted twice every year. For NDA 2020 aspirants have to meet certain educational and physical eligibility criteria.
Being NIOS student you can appear for NDA.

NIOS certificate holder are eligible for NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognised board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of the 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

°°° YES, you can join the NDA if you are an Arts student.
But you can only join the ARMY WING.
NIOS, is a recognised board and so the certificate is valid to appear for entrance examination such as NDA and other competitive entrance examinations.

Candidate should have done 12th class with physics, chemistry and mathematics to apply for naval and air force wing.
Commerce and Arts students can apply for army wing.

Yes, You can appear in the NDA exam as an NIOS Arts student.

You will be able to join only Army as arts student because technical knowledge is required to join Airforce and Navy.

The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is
Minimum wages 15.7 for 16 cheers
Maximum age is 18.7 or 19 years
The education qualification for army wing of National defence is 10 + 2 pattern examination by the state board or any other equivalent University
for airforce and naval wings of defence the eligibility criteria is 12th standard with physics mathematics conducted by the recognised university or board
candidates who are appearing the 12th standard can also apply for the examination
if you want to go in army wings of National defence then you will be eligible but if you want to select air force and naval wings of National defence you won't be eligible as it requires physics and mathematics and as you have not selected science stream in your 12th standard you will not be eligible for the exam
