Respected Sir, I am studying in class 11th with Science stream and my age is 16 years now. I want to know can I apply for AIPMT next year after completing class 12th (Science) at the age 17 years? If yes then please tell me the procedure.

Yes, you can apply for AIPMT examination next year after completion of your 12th standard with Science stream at the age of 17 years. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognised board are eligible to apply for AIPMT examination. You must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year of examination to be eligible to apply for AIPMT examination.

Now, there will be no AIPMT examination as only NEET will be conducted for admission of candidates in medical courses.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 12th or appearing for board examination with PCB and English as main paper with minimum 50%.

The age limit is 17 -25 years as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. So, as you are 16 years old now then next year will be of 17 years. So, you can appear for examination.

Sciene stream ( PCM ) candidates are not eligible to appear for NEET examination.

NEET examination is conducted for admission of candidates in medical courses. So, it is necessary to have PCB as main paper in 12th board examination.

The age limit is 17-25 years on 31.12.xxxx the year will be in which you are appearing for examination.

Yes, you are eligible for AIPMT exam.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%. Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.
